In the 7th minute, Emanuel Ocampo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes in the game, Felipe Santos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. João Augusto Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Albuquerque made in the 13th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Natã Ramalho immediately put the ball in play. João Augusto Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 14th minute of play. Natã Ramalho hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Pedro Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Augusto Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Santos in the 26th minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Felipe Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vito Bastos during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st match minute, GUARANI E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Bastos to maneuver through the defense. When Mathias Albuquerque fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GUARANI E.C.'s protests and gave Mathias Albuquerque a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, GUARANI E.C.'s Mathias Albuquerque got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Lautaro Navarro was a little too slow when Felipe Santos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-1. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th minute of the game Mathias Albuquerque made a throw-in which Pedro Mattos played forward. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to GUARANI E.C. getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Mathias Albuquerque hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Milagros Cabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Mattos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mathias Albuquerque made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. After 61 played minutes GUARANI E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Celso Cardozo. 65 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Santos came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Corrêa in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Álvaro Corrêa in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, João Augusto Terra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 77th minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of GUARANI E.C.'s goalie and right to Christian Sancho. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. GUARANI E.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Natã Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, GUARANI E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Felipe Santos made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Mathias Albuquerque made in the 94th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Natã Ramalho. The GUARANI E.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
