The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 35th match minute, Made in Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iztal Autran to maneuver through the defense. Severo Labora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 45 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Nahia Gago came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
