Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Pacifico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ruperto Goizeder made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Feliberto Bembe however managed to control. Felix Txema made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Pacifico in the 38th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Ascencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After the first half Black Sky FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Black Sky FC's Ruperto Goizeder got a free kick in the 57th minute. Black Sky FC made a substitution. Candido Piearres replaced Ruperto Goizeder. Ruperto Goizeder hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the game, Arturo Ascencio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Arturo Ascencio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Black Sky FC's Tiburcio Bibiano was substituted for Arturo Ascencio. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Bibiano in the 78th minute of play. Black Sky FC's Ansu Vieira was substituted for Valentin Pacifico. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Black Sky FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
