Marko Ööpik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Armageddon's Marko Ööpik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Armageddon's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marko Ööpik came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Armageddon's Toomas Virkus got a free kick in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of play forced Armageddon's goalkeeper Marko Ööpik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Legdeur struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Armageddon. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 53 in the game by Julian Murillo from a close distance when the talented Marko Ööpik managed to make a qualified save. Armageddon's players were relieved. After taking down the ball on Armageddon's corner Giancarlo Antognoni fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Toomas Virkus made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Legdeur in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Armageddon's goalkeeper Marko Ööpik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Armageddon's Marko Ööpik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Armageddon from getting a goal against them. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. The supporters of Peru booed when Armageddon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Gentenaar didn't get a good kick on the ball.
