Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Patrick Mangueira kicked off to start the match. El Vigia FC's Azeari Velamines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 4th minute of play. After 11 played minutes El Vigia FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Mitxaut. In the 15th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azeari Velamines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Mangueira took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, El Vigia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Azeari Velamines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Dante King hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Vigia FC's Azeari Velamines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante King in the 44th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Vigia FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Criston Oro in the 46th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Ovidio Froylan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

56 minutes into the match, Patrick Mangueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrick Mangueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when El Vigia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aztore Lantaron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfredo Mitxaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but El Vigia FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
