The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Facundo Altamirano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulus Van Poucke was slow to take the kick. During this time Maravilla's players had a chance to rest. Primitivo Txanton was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cruz Credo in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Cruz Credo made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Facundo Altamirano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rdth minute of the game Cruz Credo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cruz Credo scored 3-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cruz Credo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maravilla's Cruz Credo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cruz Credo made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Cruz Credo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 58 minutes into the match, Maravilla's Cruz Credo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cruz Credo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5-0 became the score in the 62nd minute when Cruz Credo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Patricio Costa was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cruz Credo in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Maravilla's goalkeeper Facundo Altamirano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! 89 minutes into the match, Cruz Credo notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Maravilla walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
