In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Penny lane F.C's Valentin Lain got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Lain, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Valentin Lain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Valentin Lain took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guillermo Mariano made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Penny lane F.C's Dominik Szoboszlai. 31 minutes into the match, Penny lane F.C's Valentin Lain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valentin Lain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Penny lane F.C's attentive Samuel Jonsson managed to snatch the ball when Guillermo Mariano made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, Valentin Lain dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 3-0. In the 41st minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Lain in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valentin Lain scored 4-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Valentin Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaroslaw Bako. Jaroslaw Bako dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Valentin Lain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Penny lane F.C made a substitution. Eloy Tximitx replaced Remigio Garaile. The supporters of Penny lane F.C booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Penny lane F.C's Nicolas Otamendi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Valentin Lain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eloy Tximitx in the 74 minute of the game. Jaroslaw Bako was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 4-2. 83 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mariano threw the ball into play from the sideline. Penny lane F.C's Ramtin Shahidi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Lain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Valentin Lain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Valentin Lain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Lain in the 90th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Lain in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Valentin Lain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute Valentin Lain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Penny lane F.C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
