Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francisco Seco took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Francisco Seco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luís das Neves. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Luís das Neves made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís das Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pan Song Yong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Oriol hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 21st minute German Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pan Song Yong, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute, Amadeo Jakobe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Carvallo. 45 minutes into the match, Caballo Loco's German Toro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. German Toro was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Escribano. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Caballo Loco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Oriol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uruguay's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
