Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. If Pan Song Yong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Pan Song Yong notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. German Toro struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caballo Loco. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís das Neves having to interfere. Ulises Abilio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pan Song Yong, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. German Toro took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 32 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when German Toro came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. Caballo Loco's Luís das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 46th minute of play. After some careless play in the Caballo Loco defense, Axel Tasis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís das Neves. The Caballo Loco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís das Neves should have stopped the shot. After the first half Caballo Loco were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juan Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís das Neves having to interfere. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Pan Song Yong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Pan Song Yongs short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 78 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caballo Loco the free kick. In the 78th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alan Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alan Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 90 minutes, German Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caballo Loco's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Toro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Costa Rica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Caballo Loco were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
