An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 4th minute of play forced Caballo Loco's goalkeeper Luís das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís das Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Valentín Carvallo fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Valentín Carvallo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Valentín Carvallo got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 18th match minute, Caballo Loco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Toro to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the game, Milagros Cabal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caballo Loco the free kick. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Milagros Cabal got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pan Song Yong in the 22nd minute of play. Ulises Abilio hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Pan Song Yong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Amadeo Jakobe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caballo Loco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Amadeo Jakobe kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Honduras booed when Caballo Loco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Castelao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Caballo Loco's Ulises Abilio got a free kick in the 39th minute. Valentín Carvallo got his second yellow card in the match during the 47th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 48th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for German Toro to strike the kick off in the second half. Hugo Umbruso charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Umbruso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugo Umbruso hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. A collision led to Caballo Loco getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Pan Song Yong hit a great ball. After 58 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Carvallo. Hugo Umbruso made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Moises Tafalla. The throw-in from Amadeo Jakobe in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. It was beautiful to see Honduras's Esteban Carvallo in action when he in the 67th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pan Song Yong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Espinar in the 72nd minute of the match. Luís das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Moises Tafalla fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ulises Abilio kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Caballo Loco's Pan Song Yong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Caballo Loco succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Honduras had controlled the match.
