Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Efraim Gilabert hit a great ball. After 14 minutes Qikiqtarjuaq FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Ilgaz Şirvan came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo scored 1-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abel Bueno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilgaz Şirvan in the 25th minute of play. Luz Tejedor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 34th minute Ilgaz Şirvan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Qikiqtarjuaq FC's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Bueno came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd of the match, Eliseo Mina tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Abel Bueno got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 45th minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Abel Bueno. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caio da Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 50th minute of play forced Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Abel Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilgaz Şirvan in the 54th minute of the match. Quinton Marcheterre made in the 77th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Caio da Rocha however managed to control. Abel Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 79th minute of the match.
