Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Reis HSD Paredes's Gervasio Ramos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yuan Ying stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Yuan Ying made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Daniel Zorita drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Reis HSD Paredes's goalkeeper. A collision led to Reis HSD Paredes getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Dong Jing Lang hit a great ball. Gervasio Ramos scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho scored 1-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yuan Ying, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gervasio Ramos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play forced Reis HSD Paredes's goalkeeper Yuan Ying to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Reis HSD Paredes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Yuan Ying. In the 35th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuan Ying breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Reis HSD Paredes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Borba in the 53rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yuan Ying. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Curado during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Manuel Curado hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gervasio Ramos went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Gervasio Ramos struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reis HSD Paredes. After a rather tough play, Reis HSD Paredes's Marcelo Brito got a free kick in the 64th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuan Ying having to interfere. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuan Ying read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Reis HSD Paredes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Yuan Ying made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 77th minute. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Cristian Sancho sped through Reis HSD Paredes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yuan Ying. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute Gervasio Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Reis HSD Paredes throughout the match.
