Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maksymilian Mirowski in the 23rd minute of play. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Marian Debowski made a huge save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Bielskie Nadzieje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Lawrence didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marian Debowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 31st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Leonides Lawrence hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marian Debowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Bielskie Nadzieje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maksymilian Mirowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 minutes Bielskie Nadzieje's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Bielskie Nadzieje's Marian Debowski managed to reach the ball for a save. The attack was good, but when Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bielskie Nadzieje made a substitution. Mikolaj Giertych replaced Maksymilian Mirowski. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Debowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Nils-Erik Lang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Mikolaj Giertych cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ronaldinho Dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils-Erik Lang got free with Julio Vera in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikolaj Giertych in the 71st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Marian Debowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonides Lawrence struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bielskie Nadzieje. Marian Debowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute of the match. Marian Debowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Debowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Mikolaj Giertych could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
