Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmundo Espiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fotbal Club Vaslui the free kick. Edmundo Espiga kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Marcel Bântu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 6th minute of play. Mugurel Răduț kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabian Boștină hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Mugurel Răduț kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Edmundo Espiga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fotbal Club Vaslui's Marcel Bântu didn't even have to move. In the 15th minute, Edmundo Espiga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcel Bântu. The goal made the score 1-0. Luca Espinar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Marcel Bântu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcel Bântu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 21st minute of play. Augustin Jivulescu hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Bântu having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Albu made in the 34th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Teodor Oneț immediately put the ball in play. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalie prevented a goal. Luca Espinar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Marcel Bântu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcel Bântu came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Honduras's attentive Christian Sancho managed to snatch the ball when Cristian Albu made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Bântu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Marcel Bântu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes of play, Honduras's Ivan Navarro made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Bântu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Honduras's Luca Espinar got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcel Bântu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Marcel Bântu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Cristian Albu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Sebastian Villa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Bântu. Marcel Bântu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Mugurel Răduț got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Fotbal Club Vaslui booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Espinar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Bântu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Marcel Bântu came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. There was no doubt that Honduras were the better team. Honduras's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
