Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levente Pucheli, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8thth minute of the game Alex Zádori who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gedeon Fenyves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vendel Sass came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vendel Sass came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's Vendel Sass managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 38th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vendel Sass saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Márton Tököli kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vendel Sass. The Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vendel Sass should have stopped the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Zádori in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Zádori in the 67th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Zádori in the 67th minute of the match. Márton Tököli's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Márton Tököli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Márton Tököli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's Gedeon Fenyves got a free kick in the 71st minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Levente Pucheli came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Csaba Nyitrai in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Gedeon Fenyves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gedeon Fenyves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE made a substitution. Gusztáv Vásárhelyi replaced Levente Pucheli. In the 88thth minute of the game Alex Zádori who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute Alex Zádori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vendel Sass made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 93rd minute. Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's Gábor Horváth was substituted for Csaba Nyitrai. After 97 played minutes Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE got a freekick which was hit by Márton Tököli. Vendel Sass took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
