Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celal Ağca having to interfere. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörgen Odeen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-10 in the 97th playminute.
