Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Shah Tan started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Shah Tan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Mujahid Singh scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Paraná Clube's Shah Tan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Shah Tan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Shah Tan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraná Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Shah Tan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 19 minutes of play, Paraná Clube's Shahiran Hian made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shahiran Hian in the 27th minute of the match. Shahiran Hian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Paraná Clube's Shahiran Hian slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 4-0 after 31 minutes of play. Shah Lam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Shah Tan came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costa Rica were furious when Abel Carballo was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 40 minutes, Paraná Clube's Mujahid Singh got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Benito Sanz. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Shah Tan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

The wind increased when Eliseo Noboa made the kick off in the second half. The Paraná Clube fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Paraná Clube's Shah Tan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 53rd minute, Shah Tan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mujahid Singh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Rubio's late challenge caught a Paraná Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Zak Hong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Shah Tan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After 62 minutes, Shah Tan made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mujahid Singh in the 65th minute of the match. Mujahid Singh might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mujahid Singh ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Shahiran Hian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Shah Tan came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Shahiran Hian made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. After 81 minutes of play, Paraná Clube's Shahiran Hian made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Shah Tan came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Paraná Clube fully deserved thier win.
