Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Segundo Anaya got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's Segundo Anaya ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Sustrai in the 12th minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th match minute, C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Esiquio to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Desiderio Intxixu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 2-0. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's Segundo Anaya. But to his dismay, Segundo Anaya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 28th minute, C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's Teofilo Salvino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Intxixu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Desiderio Intxixu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Segundo Anaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Segundo Anaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Sustrai in the 60th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Desiderio Intxixu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Desiderio Intxixu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 67th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Salvino in the 71st minute of the match. Axel Tasis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Norbert Szigligeti made a huge save. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Eliseo Noboa's late challenge caught a C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Sustrai in the 81st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Anaya in the 86th minute of play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Salvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The supporters of C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Enrique Sustrai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. After 89 played minutes C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Sustrai. In the 96th minute Desiderio Intxixu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
