Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Cumpan in the 6th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Florin Cumpan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Apa Panter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after AFC Prunis MM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Apa Panter despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Leontin Petrulean's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leontin Petrulean helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, AFC Prunis MM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leontin Petrulean to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play forced AFC Prunis MM's goalkeeper Apa Panter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AFC Prunis MM's Apa Panter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Leontin Petrulean sent off a good shot on target. Apa Panter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of AFC Prunis MM's Apa Panter. Apa Panter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 39th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apa Panter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho scored 1-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apa Panter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Apa Panter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apa Panter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Elenescu charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed George Elenescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florin Cumpan was the one to do the kick off. AFC Prunis MM's Răzvan Mustață got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Prunis MM's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apa Panter came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the AFC Prunis MM defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Apa Panter. The AFC Prunis MM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Apa Panter should have stopped the shot. George Elenescu got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. George Elenescu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Apa Panter however easily saved by the left post. Răzvan Mustață received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AFC Prunis MM's Sergiu Urdea was substituted for Petrică Ciocâlteu. Dorel Decuseară charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorel Decuseară the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in AFC Prunis MM fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! Apa Panter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Ecuador played a much better game than AFC Prunis MM and deserved their victory. The AFC Prunis MM players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
