An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaromír Mauer in the 4th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maylandseasky's Hafriz Seah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Maylandseasky from getting a goal against them. Lucrețiu Giosu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. In the 14th minute Lucrețiu Giosu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Lucrețiu Giosu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Azli Lam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maylandseasky's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Salvador the free kick. After 36 played minutes Maylandseasky got a freekick which was hit by Azli Lam. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucrețiu Giosu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Fernandino might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hafriz Seah. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moises Fernandino ran back to his position shaking his head. Abram Luque hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Hafriz Seah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute Abram Luque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hafriz Seah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucrețiu Giosu in the 57th minute of the match. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaromír Mauer in the 58th minute of play. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Lucrețiu Giosu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Steven Teo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maylandseasky's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Salvador the free kick. Steven Teo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Maylandseasky's Rudy Ning got a free kick in the 74th minute. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaromír Mauer, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Hafriz Seah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 78th minute of the match. Lucrețiu Giosus short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Ricardo Zorita to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Maylandseasky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sajeev Kool didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaromír Mauer in the 91st minute of play. Lucrețiu Giosu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Maylandseasky left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El Salvador.
