Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shah Tan in the 44th minute of the match. Zak Hong hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Primitivo Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Paraná Clube's Shahiran Hian got a free kick in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With his leg Jacobo Nores managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Paraná Clube's Shah Tan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 74th minute of the game Steven Abisheganaden made a throw-in which Afriz Choo played forward. After 79 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Escribano. The throw-in from Shah Lam in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano. Darren Chandran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Hector Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Shah Tan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shah Tan got free with Jacobo Nores in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th match minute, Paraná Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shah Lam to maneuver through the defense.
