Haslingden United's supporters rose to their feet, but Sudha Asati was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the game, Fredrick Koskei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Nduro made a kick off. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fredrick Biwott in the 52nd minute. Richard Nduro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Bruno Barrett when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 55 minutes, Bonaventure Adhiambo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haslingden United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonaventure Adhiambo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Barrett was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Richard Nduro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Richard Nduro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. The audience was convinced that Richard Nduro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Barrett was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. If Titus Biwott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Haslingden United's Bruno Barrett threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Richard Nduro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard Nduro's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Bruno Barrett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Richard Nduro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 73 minute of play.
