Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when José Pedro de Moraes got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, América-SC F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal Seco to maneuver through the defense. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Antunes in the 5th minute of play. Kyle Davies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Macedo having to interfere. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Pedro de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Kyle Davies kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Alexsandro Xavier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Antunes in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Antunes in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Paulo Antunes made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, José Pedro de Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by América-SC F.C.'s José Pedro de Moraes. But to his dismay, José Pedro de Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. José Pedro de Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Barrett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyle Davies to make the kick off. Bertie Johnson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, one of Curacao:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Curacao. A hard shot 65 in the game by Paulo Antunes from a close distance when the talented Bruno Barrett managed to make a qualified save. Curacao's players were relieved. José Pedro de Moraes came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bruno Barrett could save by the left post. Paulo Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. The long shot by Christian Matos in the 71st minute really tested Bruno Barrett's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 73rd minute, Christian Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A throw-in in the 75th minute of the game was made by Carlos Carioca with Ulysses Linares as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 78 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Alexsandro Xavier came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexsandro Xavier in the 79th minute of the match. José Pedro de Moraes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. 85 minutes into the game, Juvenal Seco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno Barrett. Juvenal Seco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juvenal Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, José Pedro de Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. América-SC F.C.'s Paulo Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute, América-SC F.C.'s Juvenal Seco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. América-SC F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
