In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s goalkeeper Serafin Cesaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 16 played minutes ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ofri Villig. Serafin Cesaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Peru's Luz Tejedor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serafin Cesaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Serafin Cesaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of play forced ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s goalkeeper Serafin Cesaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafin Cesaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Serafin Cesaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Prats in the 34th minute of play. Serafin Cesaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 36th minute of play. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Serafin Cesaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 47th minute of play. The ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juan Manuel Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Nemesio Tximitx sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Peru booed when ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Isauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th match minute, ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Isauro to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Cleto Onbera was substituted for Leon Acevedo. Julian Murillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Serafin Cesaro came out and tried to block the shot, but Julian Murillo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 66th minute. With a little luck, ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Serafin Cesaro got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which Serafin Cesaro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cleto Onbera made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 78 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Serafin Cesaro. Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Julian Murillo in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Serafin Cesaro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Julian Murillo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Serafin Cesaro firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Serafin Cesaro got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peru made a substitution.
