Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Lacasa took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 5 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Casaus. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armindo Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Caeiro in the 17th minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Caeiro in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Armindo Salgado came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 26thth minute of the game Joaquim de Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 27 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Álvaro Rezende who took care of the corner kick. 30 minutes into the game, Joaquim de Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 35 minutes into the game, Felix Garrido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chile's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VB-Team the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Chile:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of VB-Team:s goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim de Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armindo Salgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Armindo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 75th minute of the match. A hard shot 79 in the game by Traian Hăvârneanu from a close distance when the talented Thiago Pliego managed to make a qualified save. Chile's players were relieved. Armindo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 83rd minute of play. Armindo Salgado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Traian Hăvârneanu got free with Thiago Pliego in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luís Caeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Armindo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
