Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Wincent Dropinski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 14 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Wincent Dropinski managed to make a qualified save. Castanheiro SC's players were relieved. 15 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wincent Dropinski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Castanheiro SC were awarded a corner. Alfredo Stefano went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Alfredo Stefano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Fernando Toscano hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Castanheiro SC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wincent Dropinski came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wincent Dropinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Wincent Dropinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Toscano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 36 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, one of Castanheiro SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Castanheiro SC. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wincent Dropinski. 2-0. Felix Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wincent Dropinski could save by the left post. In the 41st minute, Alfredo Stefano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 陶渊伟 in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wincent Dropinski was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robben Spoelberchs to make the kick off. Wincent Dropinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robben Spoelberchs struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castanheiro SC. Jonas Casta kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Castanheiro SC's 陶渊伟 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. 4-1 became the score in the 68th minute when Juan Sebastián Puig elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Robben Spoelberchs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jânio Sanches to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Wincent Dropinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Elói Maranhense hit a great ball. In the 96th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincent Dropinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
