Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. 13 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Dolfos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luis Andino succeeded in the game's 13th minute to get real power on a long shot . Club Almirante Brown's Isidoro Dolfos hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-0! After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Guido Bautista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Guido Bautista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th match minute, Club Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Segio to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Isidoro Dolfos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 played minutes Club Almirante Brown got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Segio. Club Almirante Brown's Isidoro Dolfos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. Isidoro Dolfos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Almirante Brown's Guido Bautista. But to his dismay, Guido Bautista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Guido Bautista came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Club Almirante Brown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Bautista couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilfredo Segio made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Club Almirante Brown's Prospero Abad got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Isidoro Dolfos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some careless play in the Club Almirante Brown defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidoro Dolfos. The Club Almirante Brown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidoro Dolfos should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Club Almirante Brown's Oscar Abascal got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Primitivo Andino made in the 68th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felix Montenegro. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Bautista in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute, Aristides Rayman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 76th minute of play forced Club Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Isidoro Dolfos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Guido Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Almirante Brown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Bautista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Rayman during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th minute, Aristides Rayman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoro Dolfos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 85th minute of the match.
