Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Kaur Kapten made a huge save. The supporters of Modernians booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Txema Cerbera came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Modernians were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
