Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jerônimo Martins kicked off to start the match. When Jerônimo Martins came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerônimo Martins couldn't finish the play. In the 4th minute of the match Gaudencio Joseph shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 8th minute of the match Abel Maldonado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jerônimo Martins hit a great ball. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Jerônimo Martins made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's Jerônimo Martins in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Gant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jeronimo Baldovino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the game, Jerônimo Martins cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the match, Ben Gant had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ben Gant was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Lautaro Puig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Perfecto Mongis made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Lautaro Puig took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Perfecto Mongis to make any attempt to save it. If Jerônimo Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eliseo Noboa's late challenge caught a Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Ferrant made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lautaro Puig. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Joseph didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 46 in the game by Axel Tasis from a close distance when the talented Perfecto Mongis managed to make a qualified save. Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's players were relieved.

Jerônimo Martins came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benito Sanz could save by the left post. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 58 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. In the 61st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's Gaudencio Joseph broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Jerônimo Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Froilan Leoncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Froilan Leoncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's Jerônimo Martins fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 76th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Ben Gant kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-5 in the 78 minute of play. Jerônimo Martins had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 82 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-6 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Jerônimo Martins tried to sneak it across the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Juan Rubio in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's Ambrosio Ovando. Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
