Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pardo. Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's Perfecto Mongis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ from getting a goal against them. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerônimo Martins in the 24th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Rogelio Torres with Jerônimo Martins as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Hector Covarrubias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perfecto Mongis having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerônimo Martins in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jerônimo Martins in the 37 minute of the game. In the 38th minute, Rogelio Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Rogelio Torres in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paraguay's Raul Venegas. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Pardo to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ben Gant in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 60 minutes into the game, Jose Sanz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's Ambrosio Ovando quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Xavier Zoido's late challenge caught a Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavier Zoido helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Zoido to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerônimo Martins. 65 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Gant came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Nores stood somewhat misplaced when Jerônimo Martins came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 79 minute. Ben Gant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's Ambrosio Ovando managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jose Sanz in the 85 minute of the game. Hector Covarrubias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogelio Torres hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. Jerônimo Martins in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacobo Nores, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the final whistle went the supporters of Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Paraguay side.
