Daniel Hanot came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Sotero in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Hanot was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Baldomiro Reynardo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Baldomiro Reynardo could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Damaso Sotero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 36th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Hanot. Furia Calamar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The wind increased when Baldomiro Reynardo made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Hipolito Manni notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Furia Calamar booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Reynardo in the 72nd minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Conrado Savion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conrado Savion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Reynardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Damaso Sotero sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Furia Calamar walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
