VB-Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Caeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim de Barros in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abram Sarmiento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armindo Salgado having to make a save. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shao Kun Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A hard shot 31 in the game by Kevin Mastache from a close distance when the talented Armindo Salgado managed to make a qualified save. VB-Team's players were relieved. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Caeiro in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, VB-Team's Shao Kun Yuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim de Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo Pellecchia got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armindo Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. 59 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Pellecchia. 65 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armindo Salgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Sarmiento's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute, Axel Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. VB-Team's Qiu Sheng Bang was substituted for Sandro Leitão. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Secada in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armindo Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Secada in the 77th minute of the match. Abram Secada took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armindo Salgado. Armindo Salgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by VB-Team's Traian Hăvârneanu. But to his dismay, Traian Hăvârneanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Traian Hăvârneanu in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 93 minutes into the match, Traian Hăvârneanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Traian Hăvârneanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 95th match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Traian Hăvârneanu to maneuver through the defense. VB-Team's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
