VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 10th minute of play. When Shao Kun Yuan came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the VB-Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shao Kun Yuan couldn't finish the play. In the 13th match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shao Kun Yuan to maneuver through the defense. Mattias Jonasson hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 25th minute of play. Armindo Salgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 26th minute. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Gervásio Severiano came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervásio Severiano's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 36 minutes into the game, VB-Team's Joaquim de Barros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 41st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes in the game Mattias Jonasson did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Luís Caeiro. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 54th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armindo Salgado having to make a save. Orlando Casaus kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Joaquim de Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim de Barros came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 70th minute. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armindo Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Joaquim de Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Álvaro Rezende hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. VB-Team made a substitution. Qiu Sheng Bang replaced Sandro Leitão. After 82 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Rezende. In the 87th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 87th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armindo Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Caeiro in the 93rd minute of the match. If Luís Caeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. VB-Team's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
