Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Shi Ming took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pablo Herrera made in the 5th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which C.J. Cox however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Ming in the 6th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Terremoto FC defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenneth Libesoons. The Terremoto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenneth Libesoons should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when C.J. Cox tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Shi Ming lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Rolando Noboa. 21 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenneth Libesoons narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Peru's Eliseo Mina to fire away a dangerous shot which Kenneth Libesoons despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when C.J. Cox came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, C.J. Cox made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Milagros Fraga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute of the game Isidoro Buinton made a throw-in which C.J. Cox played forward. Kenneth Libesoons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Kenneth Libesoons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.J. Cox could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. In the 39thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Terremoto FC's Kenneth Libesoons was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenneth Libesoons saved Terremoto FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kenneth Libesoons prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Kenneth Libesoons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Terremoto FC's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Libesoons came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Terremoto FC's Jeremias Macedo was substituted for Shi Ming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Laurentzi in the 77th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Laurentzi came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rdth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Terremoto FC's Kenneth Libesoons was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 92 minutes of play, Terremoto FC's Edgard Tirso made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo.
