Xavion Chavarri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 3rd minute of the match. After 4 played minutes Kurdwanów FC got a freekick which was hit by Jerzy Rzegotka. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xavion Chavarri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 7th minute of play forced Kurdwanów FC's goalkeeper Xavion Chavarri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Xavion Chavarri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xavion Chavarri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Xavion Chavarri. Kurdwanów FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Zachariasz Sniegowski fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kurdwanów FC's protests and gave Zachariasz Sniegowski a yellow card for diving instead. Xavion Chavarri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Kurdwanów FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Lautaro Mancebo got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 25 minutes into the match. Kurdwanów FC made a substitution. Witold Majerowicz replaced Tadeusz Degutis. Krzysztof Puzio hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kurdwanów FC's goalkeeper Xavion Chavarri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Xavion Chavarri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piotr Rybak, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 43 minutes, Barnaba Bochinski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kurdwanów FC and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kurdwanów FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Barnaba Bochinski hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Xavion Chavarri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Xavion Chavarri in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xavion Chavarri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 55th minute of the match. Jerzy Rzegotka hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The long shot by Joel Gaona in the 58th minute really tested Xavion Chavarri's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xavion Chavarri. Xavion Chavarri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Waldemar Karanowski scored 1-4 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Luca Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Xavion Chavarri. The goal made the score 1-5. With 82 minutes on the clock, Felix Luque commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Luca Zoritas short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Xavion Chavarri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kurdwanów FC's Xavion Chavarri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 88th minute of play. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Xavion Chavarri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kurdwanów FC's Jerzy Rzegotka got a free kick in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mexico eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
