Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Seco made the kick off and thus started the match. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Seco in the 6th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Hortêncio Linhares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The INTER FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Seco in the 16th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Marco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Maximiliano Escribano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmyr Linhares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 33 minutes into the game, Camilo Covarrubias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTER FC the free kick. In the 34th minute of the match Marco Seco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Gayoso skillfully saved the ball. In the 35th minute, Bruno Beldad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Uruguay booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Beldad to maneuver through the defense. After 45 minutes of play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walmyr Linhares was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Seco in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Francisco Seco sped through INTER FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Walmyr Linhares. Jaime Cazalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Linhares having to interfere. Tiago de Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiago de Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's Tiago de Azevedo got a free kick in the 58th minute. Walmyr Linhares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Seco's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 68th minute, Maximiliano Escribano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmyr Linhares was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After having played for 71 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Walmyr Linhares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Seco in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 80th minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Walmyr Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Alberto Gisbert notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of INTER FC's Walmyr Linhares. Walmyr Linhares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joaquin Gayoso didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 7-2. INTER FC's Walmyr Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 95th minute of play.
