Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 4 minutes, Gilbert Bonsaint managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CLAYMORE COUNTRY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Bonsaint was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Arantes in the 9th minute of play. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anísio Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. The supporters of USA booed when CLAYMORE COUNTRY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Day came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by CLAYMORE COUNTRY's Gilbert Bonsaint. But to his dismay, Gilbert Bonsaint quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lucas Maciel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes CLAYMORE COUNTRY's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on USA's corner Edward Mcdonald fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucas Maciel quite easily take care of the ball. In the 31st minute, Anísio Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington Arantes in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, CLAYMORE COUNTRY's goalkeeper Lucas Maciel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. 37 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when CLAYMORE COUNTRY's Gilbert Bonsaint fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 37thth minute of the game Gilbert Bonsaint who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 37 minutes, Gilbert Bonsaint made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. USA's Marco Day tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 39th minute of play forced CLAYMORE COUNTRY's goalkeeper Lucas Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Cassius Byrne almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CLAYMORE COUNTRY's Lucas Maciel did a great save. Lucas Maciel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 43rd minute. After the first half CLAYMORE COUNTRY were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 52 minutes, Gilbert Bonsaint made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. USA's Marco Day tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Monty Rogers came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Monty Rogers couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Washington Arantes in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Washington Arantes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. In the 87th minute of the match CLAYMORE COUNTRY got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sten Lindell ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Sten Lindell almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but USA's Marco Day did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Arantes in the 90th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, CLAYMORE COUNTRY's goal looked a bit too open when Khalid Parry came free, but Lucas Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Washington Arantes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
