Ernesto Padro came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ernesto Padro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Garcia hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Ivo de Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes in the game, Mariano Lacasa dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Ivo de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes, Zacarias Burni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bacho Team and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zacarias Burni hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Pedro Indiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Padro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivo de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ivo de Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivo de Sousa was the one to do the kick off. Bacho Team's Sebastian Quinto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pedro Indiano in the 52 minute of the game. Ernesto Padro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Ivo de Sousa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bacho Team's Ivo de Sousa. But to his dismay, Ivo de Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 67 minutes, Felix Garrido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chile and the Bacho Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Felix Garrido hit a great ball. Bacho Team made a substitution. Aquiles Iban replaced Leon Garcia. Felix Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Orlando Casaus's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ernesto Padro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When Ivo de Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Bacho Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo de Sousa couldn't finish the play. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ernesto Padro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Chile's Orlando Casaus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
