Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Colombia's Abram Sarmiento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indiana Jones in the 4th minute of play. Higinio Aguilera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Higinio Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 minutes Los Hijos de Doña Beija's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. When Abelardo Domenec fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Hijos de Doña Beija's protests and gave Abelardo Domenec a yellow card for diving instead. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Luis Cazalla. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Indiana Jones made a kick off. Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Colombia booed when Los Hijos de Doña Beija was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Sandaili didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Los Hijos de Doña Beija getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Abelardo Domenec hit a great ball. Santino Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
