Sebastian Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 雷夕沙 having to make a save. In the 11th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 雷夕沙 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 庞耀俊 charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 庞耀俊 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes 南安普顿圣徒 got a freekick which was hit by 庞耀俊. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 雷夕沙 having to interfere. 庞耀俊 made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by 乔洲弘. After 25 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 雷夕沙 was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of 雷夕沙. 南安普顿圣徒's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 31 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Christian Sancho. When 袁洲霆 fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 南安普顿圣徒's protests and gave 袁洲霆 a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to 南安普顿圣徒 getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. 袁洲霆 hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 乔洲弘. Ivan Navarro's late challenge caught a 南安普顿圣徒's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Navarro helped the player get up and apologised. 南安普顿圣徒 made a substitution. 彭文朗 replaced 郭棋飞. After 39 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Navarro. 卓坚枫's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by 庞耀俊, made in the 45th minute of the game. After the first half Honduras were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by 卓奕岚 in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to 南安普顿圣徒 getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. 庞耀俊 hit a great ball. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 雷夕沙 having to interfere. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, 袁卫星 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 雷夕沙. Edmundo Espiga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Emanuel Ocampo hit a great ball. If Luca Espinar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Villa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 雷夕沙 was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Sebastian Villa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 雷夕沙. That made the score 0-4 in the 88 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Honduras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 南安普顿圣徒.
