Leszek Wielopolski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Leszek Wielopolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Rafal Jakubiak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Leszek Wielopolski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 55th minute of the match Uriel Ralondo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 58 minutes, Agustín Saelices mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Chelsea Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leszek Wielopolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Chelsea Football Club's Silvestre Porfiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Silvestre Porfiro notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 88 minutes play.
