Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 庄战烽 having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 庄战烽 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 庄战烽 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. 庄战烽 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 庄战烽 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 庄战烽. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, ☆战国☆深圳超音速足球队's 庄战烽 got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 朱适荣 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 张强霆 kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
