In the 4th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Mikeldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 9th minute of play. Nestor Mikeldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led to BWANA FC's Fernan Platon getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 18 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestor Mikeldi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, BWANA FC's goalkeeper Nestor Mikeldi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Nestor Mikeldi however easily saved by the left post. Nestor Mikeldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 29th minute of the match. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Honesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Nestor Mikeldi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Nestor Mikeldi in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, BWANA FC's Nestor Mikeldi got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Facundo Cadaval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Mikeldi having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 52 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestor Mikeldi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nestor Mikeldi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 59thth minute of the game Lautaro Mancebo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BWANA FC's Nestor Mikeldi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Fernan Platon came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the BWANA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernan Platon couldn't finish the play. Nestor Mikeldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BWANA FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Domingos Jusepe in the 73rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Fernan Platon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. BWANA FC's Nestor Mikeldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 76th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nestor Mikeldi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 89th match minute, BWANA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Jusepe to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, BWANA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Nestor Mikeldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Mikeldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mexico had won after a very even match.
