Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. Christian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tasso Tegeborg during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th minute, Tasso Tegeborg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 14th minute of play forced Fors Melodiae Lumen's goalkeeper Arthur Elisabeth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 28 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Luca Espinar. After 31 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Espiga. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur Elisabeth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yannick Salaar hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. If Luca Espinar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Ocampo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 46th minute of play forced Fors Melodiae Lumen's goalkeeper Arthur Elisabeth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Fors Melodiae Lumen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Honduras were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tasso Tegeborg to make the kick off. Arthur Elisabeth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 52nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arthur Elisabeth saved Fors Melodiae Lumen from getting behind. Sebastian Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 65 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Carvallo. When Nathan Parizeau fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fors Melodiae Lumen's protests and gave Nathan Parizeau a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes Fors Melodiae Lumen got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Parizeau. Edmundo Espiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Arthur Elisabeth when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fors Melodiae Lumen made a substitution. Dennis Samuelsson replaced Paolo Guerreiro. Fors Melodiae Lumen's Hans Graber was substituted for Raffaelo Ambrogioni. Fors Melodiae Lumen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Edmundo Espiga scored to the left of an out of position Arthur Elisabeth, making the score, 0-3. Arthur Elisabeth was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Edmundo Espiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Espiga really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. After 93 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arthur Elisabeth was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Fors Melodiae Lumen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
