Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute of the match, José Paulo Mendonça tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 7th minute José Paulo Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Retumbante FC's Eurico Galvão got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Kauã Mandrak took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. 25 minutes into the game, José Paulo Mendonça lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant. After 33 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Apat Reina was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute José Paulo Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kauã Mandrak got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Retumbante FC made a substitution. Jarbas Dantas replaced Basílio Cearense. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Paulo Mendonça was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Belmiro Mello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Belmiro Mello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apat Reina having to interfere. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Retumbante FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eurico Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when José Paulo Mendonça came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If José Paulo Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Apat Reina, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Fabinho Bittencourt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute of the game Frank Gonçalves made a throw-in which Belmiro Mello played forward. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauã Mandrak in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes in the game Eurico Galvão did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kauã Mandrak. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Retumbante FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauã Mandrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kauã Mandrak came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes Retumbante FC got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Galvão. In the 93rd minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apat Reina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Mendonça in the 95th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Retumbante FC's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apat Reina came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
