After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Gervasio Flores stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Gervasio Flores tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 played minutes TJ Lokomotiva DL got a freekick which was hit by 范建皓. In the 33rd minute, TJ Lokomotiva DL's Antônio Rocha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The supporters of TJ Lokomotiva DL booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, 范建皓 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 范建皓 made a kick off. Antônio Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. TJ Lokomotiva DL's Dominik Heinrich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 54th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, TJ Lokomotiva DL's goalkeeper Dominik Heinrich had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. 66 minutes into the match, TJ Lokomotiva DL's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Dominik Heinrich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Venezuela booed when TJ Lokomotiva DL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derwin Rallo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
