Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 3rd minute of play forced Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Apat Reina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Retumbante FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kauã Mandrak was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Apat Reina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play forced Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Apat Reina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Retumbante FC's Apat Reina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 22nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apat Reina. Apat Reina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kauã Mandrak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Frank Gonçalves hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Apat Reina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Paulo Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kauã Mandrak was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Mendonça in the 55th minute of play. Apat Reina made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Kauã Mandrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita came free in the 64th minute and tried to tip the ball over Apat Reina, but to the joy of Retumbante FC's supporters the ball went over. After a defensive mix-up in Retumbante FC's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apat Reina came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Gonçalves hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apat Reina having to interfere. Daniel Zorita scored 0-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apat Reina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Apat Reina didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Apat Reina in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Retumbante FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Apat Reina made a huge save. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
