The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vegim Bardhi in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th minute, Tomislav Cvetanoski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 9th minute Vegim Bardhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Tomislav Cvetanoski put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. In the 19th minute of the match Arse Ringov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Barrett showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 24th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Troy Kennedy to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute of the match Milovan Mitevski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Barrett showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dragoljub Gičevski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanley Wallace in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Miladin Mitrevski made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. The supporters of Curacao booed when Opate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milovan Mitevski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miladin Mitrevski in the 42nd minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomislav Cvetanoski in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute Tomislav Cvetanoski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vegim Bardhi in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vegim Bardhi was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Tomislav Cvetanoski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Barrett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomislav Cvetanoski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 54 minute of play. Opate's Vegim Bardhi came free and shot a quick shot against goal 60 minutes in the game, fortunately Bruno Barrett had problems saving as it came toward the left post. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Tomislav Cvetanoski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vegim Bardhi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Bruno Barrett 65 minutes into the match. Tomislav Cvetanoski took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. When Harvey Doyle fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curacao's protests and gave Harvey Doyle a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Doyle to maneuver through the defense. Dragoljub Gičevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Davies, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Curacao booed when Opate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arse Ringov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milovan Mitevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Curacao fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Opate were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
