The audience was convinced that Txema Cerbera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noel Seide was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Haiti's Noel Seide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Txema Cerbera in the 17th minute of play. The Modernians fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Modernians's Txema Cerbera looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by 李伟乐 in the 25th minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Lunt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Txema Cerbera put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Noel Seide. 31 minutes into the game, Sam Lunt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Noel Seide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Modernians's zone, Philippe Ambroise stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaur Kapten came out of the goal and Philippe Ambroise tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 何超光 in the 38th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Thomas Stenger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Txema Cerbera was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Thomas Stenger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Modernians's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Stenger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Seide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th minute, Sam Lunt made a precise shot to the right of Noel Seide. Haiti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Stenger in the 57th minute of play. With his leg Noel Seide managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Modernians's Txema Cerbera fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 59 minutes of play, Modernians's Harvey Goodwin made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noel Seide was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Lunt got free with Noel Seide in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the game, Txema Cerbera lined in a short shot 0-11 behind a frustrated Noel Seide. Sam Lunt did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-17 to the left of a surprised Noel Seide 91 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Txema Cerbera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noel Seide. Haiti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Txema Cerbera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-18. When the match was over Modernians could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Haiti throughout the match.
