After a rather tough play, EoDu Uai Sôccer's Ertuğrul Ulutaş got a free kick in the 11th minute. Qi Yang Guang scored 0-3 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José-Luis Chilavert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Söderhall's Svante Stenqvist got control of the ball when Demetrio Cannata tried to sneak it across the goal line. José-Luis Chilavert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Ixona, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 46th minute, Jardel Cabezon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

José-Luis Chilavert came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Söderhall's Qi Yang Guang. But to his dismay, Qi Yang Guang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 57 minutes into the match, EoDu Uai Sôccer's goal looked a bit too open when Clas Nørstrup came free, but José-Luis Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Zygmunt Wrzosek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José-Luis Chilavert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Söderhall's Svante Stenqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio Alves in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, EoDu Uai Sôccer's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Wrzosek came free, but José-Luis Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clas Nørstrup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José-Luis Chilavert having to interfere. José-Luis Chilavert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Wrzosek, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Svante Stenqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Cabezon in the 78th minute of play. José-Luis Chilavert didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Söderhall's Zygmunt Wrzosek shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-6 in the ordered_time% minute. After some careless play in the EoDu Uai Sôccer defense, Michael Nordgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José-Luis Chilavert. The EoDu Uai Sôccer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José-Luis Chilavert should have stopped the shot.
